Hat: Target | Plaid Button-Down: Unknown | Top: Old Navy | Denim: Apt. 9 | Boots: Gianni Bini via Macy’s | Bag: Phillip Lim for Target | Rings: H&M
Every other afternoon (sometimes more), I like to get out of the house and head to a local coffee shop to spend a few hours working away from my desk and apartment. One of my favorite local places is Aromas Bliss in downtown Omaha. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere is very conducive to working, studying, etc. I spent an afternoon at Aromas earlier this week with Liz, and even though our plans to sit outside to work were thwarted by the chilly wind, I’m still glad I got “bundled up” (in fall terms) with a plaid shirt, Chelsea boots and a felted wool hat.
Top: Gap (on sale) | Pants: Jennifer Lopez for Kohl’s (on sale) | Sandals: TJ Maxx | Bag: Vintage Coach | Necklace: Kenneth Cole via Macy’s | Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters
It’s official: Gap makes the softest T-shirts ever. After a recent stop last weekend (that turned into a major sale try-on session), I walked away from the store with a number of cute, drape-y tops that I have been living in for the past few days. When paired with super soft leopard pants? The result is almost pajama-like — the daytime appropriate version, of course.
Kimono: Target | Top: Kohl’s | Denim: J Brand | Sandals: Sam Edelman | Bag: Brahmin (c/o Vogue) | Rings: Forever 21, Banana Republic, Macy’s, Baublebar
Oh-so-happy Thursday! I’ve been in Ohio for the past few days, and after yesterday’s storm blew over, we’ve had upper 60s and lower 70s for temps. I’m in heaven!
Black and white will forever be one of my favorite combinations. I’ve updated it with a kimono (so good and only $20 from Target). I’ve also been into buying up every slouchy T-shirt I see lately, and this one from Kohl’s is soft, the perfect amount of slouchy and a killer price.
Top: Macy’s | Denim: Elle | Flats: Target | Bag: Vintage Coach | Rings: Macy’s/Forever 21 | Nails: Essie’s Resort Fling
Happy Monday! Oh, wait … it’s Tuesday. My four-day weekend/vacation has really set me up for a confusing week, but it was well worth it. Stay tuned later this week for more pics from my trip to Southern Utah to visit a few of the national parks.
As far as my outfit goes, I know I can always count on some shopping during a trip to Utah to spruce up my wardrobe. This top from Macy’s was less than $10, and it makes me want to hop on a bike and take a ride around the city. (I wish I had room in my apartment for a bike — here’s hoping it happens one day! A fold-up bike is on my wish list at the moment.)
Bring on Monday! Is it just me, or did this weekend fly by? I wore this outfit yesterday while gallivanting about town; after church, friends and I headed out for brunch, some exploring and a little shopping. All in all a lovely weekend!
Let’s talk about this jacket: the mix of print and textures is right up my alley. It’s the perfect spring jacket, ideal to throw over any T-shirt with flats for a casual Saturday morning or even dressed up with heels and trousers for a day at the office.
